Terms & Conditions
In consideration of the covenants contained here, the lessor corporation, referred to as lessor, leases to the undersigned renter, upon the terms, covenants and conditions set out here, the motor vehicle described, referred to as vehicle:
ACKNOWLEDGEMENTS :
1. Renter acknowledges that the vehicle is the property of lessor and that he or she received it in good running mechanical condition.'
2. Renter agrees that he or she will return the vehicle to lessor station from which it was rented, in the same condition as he or she received it, ordinary wear and tears excepted, on the return date stated or sooner upon demand lessor.
3. Renter agrees not to use the vehicle for the transportation of person or for hire, express or implied, not to use it in violation of any federal, state or municipal law, ordinance, rules or regulation governing the use or return of it, not to remove it from this state without the written consent lessor.
4. Renter further expressly agrees to rent from the lessor at his or her own risk, any injuries to himself or passengers will be at the renters own risk.
5. The renter shall be held responsible for payment of any illegal luggage or traffic offense committed while in possession of the company's vehicle.
6. Repair from bogus mechanic, roadside mechanic is not allowed.
7. The renter is not allowed to travel out of the city without informing the lessor.
8. The renter shall provide adequate details of him/herself such as Passport, Driver License, Employers reference etc.
9. The company reserves the right to refuse, cancel or terminate a contract without assigning any reason
10. Renter being one of the assured under the insurance policy covering the vehicle agrees to comply with all the terms and conditions of the policy, which by reference incorporated here and made a part of this agreement, and to comply with the terms and conditions on reverse side of this agreement.
INSURANCE :
11. All vehicles are comprehensively insured with passengers legal liability.
12. Renter further expressly agrees to compensate the insurance and lessor company whereby damages, cost and expense paid o incurred by the insurance and lessor company because of injuries or damages sustained (including public property) during this agreement.
13. The renter will be liable to payment for any accidental damages to the vehicle below the accepted insurance threshold of $500 In case of major accident, the renter must report the matter to the police and obtain police report PF90 and PF115. This in compliance to the requirement of laws to the lodgement of claim with the insurance company. Failure to report the matter to the police, the renter will be liable to pay full cost of damages to both the vehicles and Third Party Claims. All in all the renter is liable to pay for the excess insurance. The renter also should report to the lessor immediately.
14. Renter agrees to compensate the lessor for the loss of business whereby the damaged vehicle is undergoing repairs by the insurer after an accident at the fault of the renter. The compensation shall be $500.
ADDITIONAL COSTS :
15. Additional charges such as break down service etc will be determined by distance and location whereby the renter will be liable for all legal charges and damages.
16. Damages to Wheels and Tyres and loss of tools and accessories are not covered, hence the renter shall be debited for any anything missing in the vehicle.
17. The lessor will cover all repair due to ware and tear. However if the damage is caused, or repairs are required due to vehicle use being deemed outside of normal use, such repairs will then be liable and due by the renter.
18. The renter is responsible for parking fees and any additional charges.
19. Out of town usage, tariffs may differ according to routes and km, any excess above 100kms will be charged accordingly.
20. Overtime charges for chauffeur services is $1.5/hour. Additional $4 after 9pm for transport charges.
21. Deposit of $300 for out of city use. This amount will be refundable only after 2 days of inspection of the vehicle. In case of any damages done to the vehicle than the same will be deducted from the deposit paid and balance refunded.
